Nicole and I decided as a treat to Trevor for being a good kid we'd get a sitter to watch Joshua and Trevor could not only have Mommy and Daddy all to himself for a night he could pick where we go out to eat. After hearing about how much Mom and Dad love "the place that cooks the food in front of you", as Trevor refers to it, he decided he wanted to go to Kabuki in Eden Prairie. He thought the "cheater chopsticks" were pretty cool and even tried a spicy tuna roll (beginners sushi)...although he really just wanted to peel away the seaweed wrap and just eat the rice he at least tried it.

Trevor's First Time at Kabuki

Trevor on the ATV (frozen pond)
Sorry this post is a bit out of chronological order but I just downloaded these pictures from the camera. Trevor found a frozen pond back in the woods at Grandma and Grandpa's house and figured out how to do "donuts". Needless to say this became his favorite thing to do over the winter and he was really bummed out when the ice all melted. Please note he had all of his safety gear on while doing this and the speed govern on his ATV was turned almost as low as it can go so spare me the lecture e-mails on ATV safety, he has done a great job in the last year learning how to properly put on all his riding gear and how to operate his 4-wheeler.

Spring 2009 Update
As you can guess since this is the first update since new years both Nicole and I forgot we had a blog. I'll do my best to summarize the last four months for you...
Joshua - Growing way too fast, getting very big, big enough to start beating up Trevor. His favorite hobby now is playing with the four wheeler and trying to "fix it"...he enjoys trying to take things apart, or to just break them.
Trevor - Loves going to school as he is very much the social one of the two boys...and yes he get's that from Nicole, not I. He is going to be in a baseball camp this summer with one of his friends and if that goes good we are onto swimming or karate next.
Nicole - Getting ready to finish up her spring semester of classes at HTC and seems to really enjoy the photography biz. She just registered for fall classes and is trying to load up on courses so she can graduate in May 2010 however she might still need to take one or two additional courses that could push it beyond May. She just picked up a new MacBook Pro so she can have a laptop to take with on photo shoots and do some initial editing on-site if needed (I am actually waiting for all the Adobe software to load on it as I am typing this)...and hopefully she'll stop nagging me for new gear for a while; I don't even think my MBA cost us as much as we've "invested" in her Photography Degree.
Jeremy (Me) - The first few months of 2009 were, I think, the sickest I have ever been. It seemed every other week I caught a flu bug...which really sucked. Thankfully things seem to be much better now that the snows off the ground and we've left all the windows on the townhome open to get that "winter funk" out. I know people always say "work is so busy" but the last couple months at Best Buy have been F#%&ING NUTS!! Still having a lot of fun there though and looking forward to things calming down just a bit.
I'd post some new pictures of the fam but Nicole has officially become the photo Nazi of our iMac and I can't figure out how she has Lightroom set up so she'll have to post them.
Later,
Jeremy

December
Ok so now I think that it is almost up to date here!!!!
Joshua is finally getting his two year molars in (which has not been fun for mommy!!) we are all hoping that they come in soon enough!!! Joshua's little friend Avery turned two, and Joshua attended his first birthday party and we had a blast!!!
Trevor is having a AWESOME time in pre-school, he is also taking a kindergarden readiness class on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, so that means that Trevor goes to school 5 days a week and his is doing wonderfully!!! We got his progress report and he is doing great in the class and he is a great friend to everyone.
I am just finishing up finals for this semester. I am loving school! It is so cool to see where I was in my picture taking skills back this summer to where I am now!! It is such a change. I cannot wait to do this all the time. Picture taking that is. Not the school part!!!!
Here are some pictures from the end of November and the beginning of December

November
Ok so another month in the Stewart family came and went like a blink of an eye!!! It was great though.. I had a wonderful opportunity to help co-chair a Thanksgiving dinner at our church and it was the best thing that I could have ever done!! it was very stressful, so many people that wanted to help which was amazing, but at the same time overwhelming too!! It turned out to be the most humbling experience that I have had the chance to help with. I think that we will be making that a yearly thing to do at our house!!! It really makes you stop and take a look at your own life and really be thankful for what you have!!! Here are some pics from the event!!!

SORRY.....
Ok so it has been A LONG time since I have had the chance to sit and update the blog so I will try to do this somewhat fast to catch everyone up to date with what is going on in the Stewart Family......
October was a slow month for the most part! I was in school, studying and taking a lot of pictures (which I will post for those of you who like to look at the photos!) We also ventured to Eau Claire for a weekend to get the annual Stewart Family Photo taken. This year was a little change for us, because not only was Ellis taking pictures, but I was too! I think that I stepped on some toes, but I wanted to take a shot at it this year!!
This is the famous John Deere "B" that you always hear us blogging about!!!!
