He's there!!
After another night of no sleep, this morning I received a text message from Jeremy stating that he had arrived in China. I was relieved to say the least. He was suppose to call when he arrived in Japan, but due to technical difficulties he could not call us. So I was waiting (not so) patiently, checking his flight status on NWA (to only find out that told me that he was in Detroit!!!) Not so much. Anyway, after a bunch of phone calls to all the phone companies that we have, I have now put international calling on all the phones so we could talk. Then we got the best surprise, my computer rang (yes, you read that right!) and it was Jeremy calling in for a video call. I hurried and got Trevor (Joshua was sleeping) and Big Guy and the three of us got to see and talk to Jeremy live from Shanghai!! We felt a whole lot better!!! Now he will be traveling within China for the next week or so. Thanks again for all of your prayers for safe travel for Jeremy!! Only 17 more days until he is home!!

Trevor's new book
Mommy is always a sucker for books for the boys. When ever they see a book that they want I give in! I will admit it! But what can it hurt? It is a book! It is good for them!! So here is a picture of Trevor and I reading together!!
China
As some of you know, and those who do not know (now you do!) Jeremy is on a flight right now (10:01 Wednesday night) to Shanghai. The boys and I took him to the airport this morning. The boys did MUCH better than I did. I tried not to cry as we pulled away, well that did not work, I just made sure that the boys did not see me cry. I did not want the boys to get too worried.
All I can say is that I am very thankful for all of my friends! Niki (friend from bible study) called and wanted me to stop over, so I did and that was just what I needed!! Let the boys jump on the trampoline and play outside, and I could vent a little. I also need to say "Thanks" to Sarah too!! She was very willing to help us too, Sarah was already in China last year and knows what we are going through. Thanks to everyone.. we are very lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives!!!

Hanging out at the LSCVFD
Lower St. Croix Valley Fire Department, since you're wondering what the hell "LSCVFD" means. Every year Buppa's (a.k.a. Grandpa Wall's) fire department puts on a pancake breakfast and the kids get to check out the fire trucks, ambulances, ladder trucks, rescue boats, etc. There was a "smoke house" there this year which was pretty cool since Trevor and his cousin Carston were able to learn the safest way to escape a house fire. This year Nicole and Amma (a.k.a. Grandma Wall) got to "ride" in the aerial bucket; basically a ladder with a bucket attached that lifts you up about 110' in the air. Nicole took her camera up with and got some pretty sweet shots of the lower St. Croix River Valley.
Day at the Arboretum
Since Jeremy took the day off of work we decided to head out to the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen. If you've never been out there it's a great spot for kids since there are over 1,000 acres of park, woods, trails, flowers, etc. for the kids to go explore...plus it tires them out so they take really long naps in the afternoon. Nicole took some photos of flowers that she want's to "tweek" in Photoshop CS3 so at least one of them (Jer or Nik) can know how to use that software. The pictures were just picked at random from the 100 plus we took throughout the park. In the next week the rest of the tulips should be in full bloom so Nicole and boys will head out their during the week to get more pictures.
